Our Lunch Bag Initiative is a community-driven effort dedicated to supporting homeless shelters across Davis. Volunteers come together to prepare and pack nutritious lunch kits, ensuring that those in need receive a well-balanced meal. Through a partnership with the Caring Hands Foundation and their local partner site, Paul’s Place, we provide essential food items to help alleviate hunger. We believe that just because someone is facing food insecurity doesn’t mean they should be deprived of nourishing, gut-friendly meals. Everyone deserves access to wholesome, nutrient-dense food: not just something to eat, but something that supports their health and well-being!

How You Can Help:

-Volunteer to help assemble and distribute lunch kits

-Donate non-perishable food items or bottled drinks

-Spread awareness and encourage others to get involved

-Join us in making a difference—one meal at a time!

Gut Gurus is proud to partner with the Caring Hands Foundation to bring this initiative to life in Davis. Working together with Paul’s Place, we ensure our meals are delivered directly to those who need them most. This partnership allows us to extend our mission of gut-conscious, health-supportive food—rooted in dignity, compassion, and community care.

This initiative began in the Bay Area, and Gut Gurus proudly continues it here in Davis—deepening our impact through local collaboration and shared purpose.
